British Lions 2nd Super Rugby Test vs Crusaders
Sorry it's a bit late folks, just got home from indoor not long ago.

Anyway, they Lions started brightly, but already don't appear to have learned from the Blues game in that the slow, awkward phase building approach just doesn't work here.

Keep an eye out for Mo'unga (the new DC in some minds), Goodhue (called into the ABs training squad) and the 8 current ABs in the squad.

Enjoy.

Lions 11/8 was tempting

Might want to work on their scrum.

Comfortable enough FH. Signs of the players gelling.

Lions dominating possession and territory, but not creating much with it.

Crusaders destroying them in the scrum, and looking much more likely to score with the ball in hand despite the Lions domination of the stats.

Few handling errors and a greasy surface making it a tough game.

Why the lack of interest?? Is it because Rugby is actually shit?

Great play by Sexton in the build up to that penalty.

Well, they played pretty well without every really threatening to "win" the game as such.

Defence was top notch though, and they strangled the life out of the Crusaders.

Good team performance from The Lions, with a line up that was closer to the Test 15,

Crusaders very underwhelming, you can't win games only scoring 3 pts in 80 minutes.

Bet landed.

Thought the ref was a touch lenient at scrum time though, because that Lions 8 was pulverised on more than one occasion, and yet someone only conceded two penalties iirc?

Managed to find a couple for the Lions early on for collapsing it though.

Farrell plays, Lions win.

Excellent performance. Murray and Farrell nailed on for the test half back partnership. Great physicality up front but need to be more clinical when we create try scoring opportunities.

Biggest compliment is that I thought the Crusaders looked pretty ordinary given all the pre match hype about them.

Long way to go, no need to get over confident but a big step in the right direction.

Not often you see a scrum half selected ONLY for his kicking.

That looked like a walk in the park for the Lions. Didn't see the whole game but didn't see Crusaders get a sniff at any point.

I do hope that Murray box kicking all day is the Lions game plan for the tests, I really do.

I can't remember seeing him pass actually, can you?

What I do remember is seeing at least one person offside every time he kicked though.

Still, in those conditions it was sensible rugby.
